Shimba Hills National Park

The park is one of the best tourist attractions in Diani. You will experience a panoramic photographic chance in every corner of the park. Elephants, giraffes, and buffalos, together with Roan and Sable antelopes are only found in Shimba park, and not anywhere else grazing in the rolling grasslands.

There is a rainforest adjacent to the park where you can watch the black and white colobus monkeys, serval cats, red duiker, and suni antelopes. The charges are $20 for residents and $100 for non-residents. After payment, you will gain access to the animals as well as the waterfall. The visit is on booking and the tour is always guided by the park rangers.

At the park, there are more than 111 bird species. These include the African Hawk, Ostrich Eagle, Quail, Sunbird, Crowned, Hornbill, Honey Guide, and Uluguru.

Reptiles such as Pythons, Lizard, Cobra, and Gecko also reside here.
