Being one of the retail pillars in the East Rand, the Mall is always looking at ways to improve the overall shopping experience available to shoppers. In 2015 the owners of East Rand Mall, Redefine Properties and Vukile Property Fund embarked on a major revamp of the Mall. The redevelopment of the Mall allowed for an additional entrance to be added, growing the overall size of the Mall and finally mixing the old (state-of-the-art design in the early 19th) with a more modern overall look and feel.
The mall’s Information Desk is located at Entrance 3 opposite Cape Union Mart.
Since the mall is wheelchair-friendly, wheelchairs are available for hire. To Hire a wheelchair, visit the Security Office located at Entrance 3 underground. A refundable fee of R60 is requested as well as your ID or your Driver’s License.
