How To Choose Accommodation in Stellenbosch
There are 2 main things to consider when looking for a hotel or guest house in Stellenbosch.
Location
The first will be location. In this instance, we classify the lodgings according to the distance from Stellenbosch’s town centre. The pros of staying in the town centre are that you are placed in a central location that is essentially the commercial hub. Here you will get to experience the cultural vibe of Stellenbosch and be near to a plethora of restaurants and cafes. The hotels in Stellenbosch town centre also tend to be more affordable, but have more people around. Staying in town is ideal if you want to feel the heartbeat of this quaint village and for business travellers as well.
Alternatively, there are hotels that are on the various wine estates. These enjoy the benefits of greater privacy and some of the best vistas available. The trade-off is that they are out of town and a bit if driving will be required to get around. These estates are great when you are planning to make a getaway of your stay and plan to spend more time at the hotel.
Budget
The final factor to consider will be price. Stellenbosch is a world class travel destination and, as a result, there is accommodation from affordable to exclusive 5 Star hotels for elite traveller who demand only the best.
