Abseiling, or rappelling as it is called by many mountaineers, is sliding down a rope under controlled conditions. The term comes from the German word “abseilen,” which translates as “top rope down.”
You will fall in love with the beauty of Munigi Gorge, after your abseil down 55m of sheer cliffs you will have to hike a short hike back to the top, this is where you’ll loose your heart.

Our trained and qualified instructor will be with you the entire time and guide you through the entire process, from kitting up to driving to the drop off all the way to getting yourself safe before dangling down the cliffs.
This is an activity not for the faint hearted, most kids younger than 12 years get cold feet, although we allow anyone who would like to go down to do so. We have no age or weigh restrictions with our abseil.
What a great way to make memories with loved ones. We limit the groups to 2 – 8 people per session, this is a 3 hour activity. Be sure to bring your hat and sun screen and do not forget comfortable hiking shoes.
